How Auto-Buy Rules Share a Safe: Auction, Queue and Priority
Most showcase safes in NFTAMA are bought by auto-buy rules. With many rules around, it helps to know the order they fire in and why one rule gets the safe while another does not.
The firing order

How the auction works
You set a step (%), the number of steps and a limit (% above the start price). Bids grow with compound interest: start × (1 + step)k. The highest maximum bid wins, but the winner does not pay it — they pay their first step above the closest rival's maximum. It is a second-price auction.
Example: a 5% step, 4 steps, a 25% limit — bids of 536, 562, 590 and 620 AMA2. If the rival's maximum is 536, you pay 562, not 620.
Who wins a tie
- At an equal bid or moment — the player with the higher account level.
- At equal levels — at random.
- If the balance lacks AMA2 for the price or BNB for gas, the rule is skipped and does not raise the price for the next one.
The “price drop” rule
It fires when the safe price falls to X% of the start. The price never goes below the final one (87 AMA2 now — about 17% of the start): a rule with a lower target buys in the last minute at the minimum price, if the safe is still there.
How to raise your chance
- Keep spare AMA2 and a little BNB on the balance — a short balance is the most common reason a rule is skipped.
- If many players hunt at the start price, overpaying 5–10% at auction is still cheaper than 1 AM at the end of a safe's life.
- Raise your account level: it breaks ties and gives more rules — 2 at the start and +1 for every 2 levels, up to 20.
