Modifier Keys: How to Boost Safe Weight and Earn More AMA2
A modifier key multiplies the AM weight of one safe. Keys come free — for challenges, confirming your e-mail, the AMA2 lock and from the safe of luck — so they are the cheapest way to add weight. But keys follow three rules, and ignoring them easily wastes their value.
Rule 1. The bonus cap
A key with multiplier m adds to a safe of weight w at most min(w × (m − 1), (m − 1) × 2 × 35), where 35 AM is the start weight of a safe in the current epoch. So a key is equally strong on a safe of 70 AM and on a very heavy one: a ×2 key adds at most 70 AM. And a key never lifts weight above the safe's capacity.

An unused key burns at the end of its last day; a reminder comes 3 days before. The account level adds +1 day of life per level (up to +30) and +2% to the bonus cap (up to +40%).
Rule 3. Tempering into an eternal key
Any hot key can be turned into an eternal one with the “Make eternal” button. A fifth of the bonus is kept: ×2 becomes an eternal ×1.2, ×3 and stronger an eternal ×1.25. Tempering costs a quarter of the showcase price of the weight the eternal key can add:

Special keys
- The level key — +1 level to any safe for free, lives 30 days, takes no weight-key slot.
- The growth key — +0.01% of base weight a day forever, never burns and takes no slot; growth stays within the class maximum +0.05%.
Strategy
- A strong hot key goes straight onto a safe of 70 AM or more with room to capacity.
- No suitable safe before it burns? Temper the key rather than lose it.
- Key first, then levels: each level adds +8% of the already boosted weight.
