Buying a Showcase Safe: What Happens the Moment It Appears and After
The NFTAMA showcase holds only one open safe at a time. It appears on the epoch's schedule, lives about 25 minutes and goes to whoever buys it first. Here is how that moment works and what you get right after the purchase.
In short: the moment a safe appears, rules take it — the auction first, then start-price rules. If there are none, the safe waits for a manual purchase or a price-drop rule. After buying you get the safe, cashback, fresh weight and challenge progress.
Who gets there first
- Auction — markup rules fire the moment it appears.
- At the start price — if nobody won the auction.
- Manual purchases and price-drop rules — after that, while the safe lives; price and weight fall every minute.
When you press “Buy” by hand, you pay that second's price and get that second's weight. The benefit per AM is shown on the card.
What happens after the purchase
- The safe is assigned to you at once and appears in “My safes”.
- A minting job is created: the NFT is minted on the blockchain to your internal wallet — this needs a little BNB for gas.
- The safe starts taking part in the AMA2 distribution by weight.
