Minting a New NFT Safe: A Practical Guide to the Forge
Minting in NFTAMA is a forge: you pick two or more of your safes, pay AMA2 and get a new eternal safe with a random class and picture. The source safes don't burn — only their mint counter goes up. Here is a practical guide.
In short: you need at least 2 of your own safes with free mint resource, AMA2 (from 153 now) and a little BNB for gas. The forge shows the luck, the class odds and the new safe's weight range in advance.
What a mint needs
- At least 2 real safes. Demo safes cannot go into the forge.
- Free mint resource: Regular 2–4 mints, Silver 3–5, Gold 4–6; levels 5 and 10 add a slot each. The card shows, for example, “Mint: 2 of 3 free”.
- AMA2 for the price: 2 safes — 153 AMA2, 3 — 229.5, 4 — 306 (in the current epoch, for parents no heavier than 35 AM).
- BNB for gas — the new NFT is minted on the blockchain.
Step by step
- Open “Mint safe” in the menu.
- Tick your safes. The forge panel instantly recalculates the luck, the Regular/Silver/Gold odds, the price and the new safe's weight range.
- Experiment with the set: add a safe of another class (“alloy”) or remove a “tired” safe with past mints.
- Confirm — AMA2 and BNB are charged, the new safe appears in “My safes” and goes to the minting queue.
What the new safe gets
- A class — random, by the forge odds.
- Weight — 8–22% of the parents' total weight; the exact weight is a surprise, the forge shows only the range.
- Its own traits: the lighter the rolled weight, the better its growth, capacity, gene and mint resource; 20% of capacity and growth comes from the parents.
- Level 0, 0 mints — it can be levelled, boosted with a key and sent to the forge at once.
- Fresh weight — it counts in the fresh pool for 30 days.
How not to waste mint resource
- Don't forge with light safes: the price is the same, but the new safe's weight is small.
- Each past mint cuts a safe's contribution to both luck and weight by 15%.
- More than 5 safes means overheating: from the sixth, the contribution is halved.
- Your account level gives a 1.5% mint discount per level, up to 30%.
A mint counts toward the Smith challenge (3 mints or one Silver/Gold mint) and gives +20 account experience on top of the experience for the AMA2 spent.
